HUMANITY

Learn how to frame global sustainable challenges and how to create local solutions to them. Develop your Circular Concept that includes everyone and is open to everyone.

INTERNATIONAL

Work in an international context: Join classes with students from around the world and lecturers from the Netherlands, Belgium, Croatia, Sweden and Germany who will take you through an intensive study and cultural program, both online and in Amsterdam.

WHAT TO EXPECT

What can you expect from IOT for Humanity?

The ITO for Humanity combines Design Thinking and Innovation in the framework of Entrepreneurship. Participants in the Short Term Program will have the unique opportunity to experience business-related models and search for emerging trends in technology, innovation and sustainability.

The program includes three weekly online sessions and a final week full of exciting classes and activities in Amsterdam. Our distinguished lecturers from Belgium, the Netherlands, Croatia, Swden and Germany will take the participants from around the world through an intensive study and cultural program. Participating students can earn up to 5 ECTS in the ITO for Humanity program.

The ITO for Humanity is a collaboration between Hogeschool van Amsterdam (HvA), The Netherlands, Karel de Grote University College (KdG), Belgium, the Hochschule der Medien (HdM) Stuttgart, Germany and Faculty of Organization and Informatics, Croatia

How to travel?

Traveling to Amsterdam can be done by high speed or regular train to Amsterdam Central station. Amsterdam has an international airport with direct train connections to downtown Amsterdam.

Where to Stay?

International students need to book themself make their own reservation at the Stayokay Hostel Amsterdam Vondelpark. Use the COUPON CODE "HVA24" on your booking on the booking form. Prices for a Bed in 4/6 person shared room including breakfast are around 250/280 euros for 6 days (from Su Nov 17th to Sa Nov 23th).

Who can take part?

The ITO for Humanity is open to Bachelor students from all subject areas but not exclusively. Some students will be from Masters programmes.

How to apply?

HvA students can apply via e-mail by sending a Letter of motivation by 15 September 2024 to international.it@hva.nl

KdG students can apply via the KdG enrollment tool by 15 September 2024
